Our Team

Stephen Rupert began his career with Rupert & Associates in February 2004, as a staff tax preparer and small business consultant. In the years since, with the help of many wonderful mentors, Stephen has gained an extensive background in Individual and Corporate taxes, QuickBooks (Stephen was a QuickBooks Pro Advisor for many years), Small Business Consulting/Coaching, and Entity Formation. Stephen has been a licensed Enrolled Agent(EA) since January 2009 and is now a long-standing member of the National Association of Tax Professional(NATP). He takes great pride in now being the sole owner of this 2nd generation family business. Stephen was raised in Buda and is now raising his family there with his wife, Heather, and their two children, Jayce & Payton. Stephen is a huge fan of University of Texas Athletics and loves spending Saturdays at DKR. When not working, Stephen enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, hunting, and fishing.

Blain Moncrief, our Office Manager, has been a part of the Rupert & Associates team since 2017. She grew up in Austin, graduating from Westlake High School and then Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos with her Bachelor of Arts in English and History. She has traveled all over the world, and while she still loves to travel, one of her favorite places remains the San Marcos River. Blain moved to Buda since 2003. She loves the fact that she gets to live and work in her community. She is usually the first face you see when you come into the office, waiting to welcome and assist our clients.

Prior to entering the financial services industry in 2009, John-Paul — who is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals — worked as a forester, mapmaker, whitewater rafting guide, shrimp farmer, scuba instructor and landscaper. He loves politics, scuba diving, playing the guitar and disc golf. He even built a nine-hole disc golf course on his property in Wimberley, Texas, where he lives with his wife, Sharon Carter. They have multiple pets, including a dog, two cats, two ducks and dozens of fish.

Ana Del Toro has worked for the past 20 years in bookkeeping and tax preparation, with considerable experience working with QuickBooks and Xero.  Growing up near El Paso, Texas has taught her the value of being bilingual both in language and culture. Besides her extensive professional experience in the financial industry, Ana also co-owns her own business with her sister, Ruth.  Ana and her husband, Jay Adams, moved to San Marcos in 2007 and are raising 7 kids together. With seven kiddos and her own business, you can imagine Ana doesn’t get much downtime, but when she does, she enjoys watching movies and attending her kids’ games and activities. 

Ana Del Toro ha trabajado durante los ultimos 20 anos en contabilidad y preparacion de impuestos, con una experencia considerable trabajando con QuickBooks y Xero.  Creciendo cerca de El Paso, Texas le ha ensenado el valor de ser bilingue tanto en el idioma como en la cultura.  Ademas de su amplia experencia profesional en la industria financiera, Ana Tambien es co-propietaria de su propio negocio con su hermana, Ruth. Ana y su esposo, Jay Adams, se mudaron a San Marcos en 2007 y tienen 7 hijos juntos. Con siete ninos y su propio negocio, se puede imaginar que Ana no tiene mucho tiempo libre, pero cuando lo tiene, disfruta viendo peliculas y asistiendo a los juegos y actividades de sus hijos.
